After Charles is killed in an accident, a young mutant shows up at the X-mansion with some very similar abilities. It's just a coincidence, isn't it? Or could this seemingly model child end up destroying them all?
This story mostly features Hank McCoy and an original character named Kyle. Gambit and Jean are also featured, in c-staring roles.
This was the third X-Men fanfiction story I ever wrote. It was written on a dare that I could never do anything mean to Gambit.
