"Your welcome, Jubilee" said Dr. Henry McCoy walking to the door of the X Mansion med-lab with her, "Oh,and Congratulations!" he continued after a pause.

"Thanks!" Jubilee called back without stopping on her way down the hall. She had come to the X Mansion to find out why she was feeling sick and she had found out she was pregnant instead. She was happy, but how was she going to tell her boyfriend and the rest of her team, Generation X?!

"Where ya goin'?" said a voice to her left as she walked into a new wing of the mansion.

"Just looking around. I've never been in this wing before." Jubilee said turning around to see who she was answering too.

"Do you want a tour? I could give you one! I'd just have to ask my Dad." said a young boy that Jubilee recognized as Scott's eight-year-old son, Jayson.

"I'd like that" she said kneeling down in front of him "Are you going to give your Aunt J a hug?" she asked, an expression of mock sadness.

"O' Course Aunt J!" he answered running up to give her a hug.

"Can I tell you a secret?" she asked him, pulling him into her lap as she sat on the floor.

"Yeah! Mama says I'm good at keepin' secrets! What's the secret?" he whispered loudly.

"Your Aunt J is gonna have a baby! Like your baby brother, Joseph!" she whispered back in a stage whisper, feeling a weight lift off her chest. Maybe it wouldn't be so hard to tell people after all, she thought to herself, smiling as Jayson hugged her again.

"Is it gonna be a boy or a girl?" he asked eagerly.

"Don't know yet! It's goin' to be a surprise!" she answered picking him up as she got off the floor.

"A surprise! When will it come?" he jabbers on when she starts walking back towards the main part of the mansion.

"After you turn nine." she answered tickling him. "Aren't you supposed to be somewhere?" she asked, stopping at the threshold of the new wing.

"Yep! I'm 'posed to be in the nursery." he answered giggling.

"Where's the nursery, Jayson? I'm sure whoever is watching you will be getting worried by now." she said sternly making him look her in the eyes.

"This is the nursery, silly! Why do you think it's called the Nursery Wing?" he said wiggling out of her grasp.

"Where's the main room?" she called as he started to run off.

"I'll show you! Follow me!" he yelled back taking off down the hall.

"Jayson!" she yelled starting after him. "Jayson slow down!" she couldn't believe how quick he was.

"Watch out!" Jayson screamed when she nearly ran over him coming round a corner.

"Sorry... I didn't know you were so fast!" she exclaimed coming to a stop five feet past him.

"Jayson is that you?" came a voice Jubilee didn't recognize from a door down the hall.

"Yes, Jesse it's me." Jayson answered heading toward the door slowly, looking back to see if she was going to follow, she did.

"You should be ashamed of yourself, running off like that! I nearly called your mother!" Jesse Logan reproved him sternly.

"I'm sorry Jesse, I really am." Jayson said hanging his head.

"It's alright, just don't do it again. Go to the nap room and lie down with the rest of the kids." Jesse directed him hoping he wouldn't wake them.

"Yes ma'am" he said walking obediently towards the door at the opposite end of the room.

"Jesse? You wouldn't happen to be Logan's significant other would you?" Jubilee asked the pretty asian-looking woman jayson had answered to.

"Yes, yes I am. And you are?" she looked a bit confused.

"I'm Jubilation Lee, Jubilee to most, I'm Logan's surrogate little sister." Jubilee said wondering if Logan had not mentioned her to the mother of his child.

"Jubilee? Logan told me about you. Aren't you supposed to be in Massachusetts with Generation X?" she said after a pause.

"I'm visiting. I'll probably be here for a while, now." Jubilee said wondering if she liked Logan's girlfriend.

"Oh? Why, may I ask?" she said it like she was talking to a misbehaving six-year-old.

"Yes, you may ask." Jubilee said and at her raised eyebrow she went on "I'm pregnant and believe, if it is alright with all concerned parties, that I should stay here through out the course of my pregnancy." Jubilee finished in a hurry, wanting to get out of this woman's presence.

"Congratulations! Does Logan know yet?" she asked curious about this girl Logan thought so highly of.

"No, I just found out today that I was with Everett's child." Jubilee didn't know why she had told this woman who's child it was but it just came out.

"He should be getting out of the Danger Room in about five minutes, so you can have a few minutes alone with him, to tell him, while I wait for my relief person" she said smiling brilliantly. Jubilee knew then that she could like this woman very much.

"Thank you, very much! Nice meeting you! See you later!" Jubilee said running out of the room.

"Nice meeting you too." Jesse said to the retreating back.

"Hey, Jubes. What's on your mind?" Wolverine asked as he walked out of the Danger Room, seeing Jubilee there waiting for him. He knew something was going on he could smell the change in her scent.

"Can I talk to you? Alone?" she asked seeming almost nervous in the way she acted.

"Sure Jubilation." he said motioning for her to lead the way."Now, what's on your mind?" he asked after she had lead him to a clearing in the woods, a place he had shown her the day she left to join Generation X.

"I just have something to tell you, I'd have wanted you to be the first person to know but I didn't know myself, till today that is... I met Jesse, she's really nice." Jubilee changed the subject in the middle of her own sentence.

"Is that what you wanted to tell me?" he asked knowing it was not.

"No that's not the only thing I wanted to tell you!" she was confused about why she couldn't tell him, they had always been so close.

"Out with Jubilation, tell me if your goin' to." he commanded sensing that she was having trouble saying whatever it was.

"I'm pregnant!" Jubilee said in a hurry.

"Pregnant, huh? Who's child is it?" he asked knowing what was different about her scent.

"My boyfriend, Everett." she answered quietly.

"The one you started roomin' with two years ago?" at her nod he continued. "Does he know yet?" he asked.

"No, I just found out today. I was wanting to stay here through the pregnancy, maybe even join the X-men again." she said hoping he would agree with her.

"Yes that would probably be best, but" he paused before continuing "you should consult the rest of your current team and the X-Men." he finished going to her and giving her a hug.

"Thank you." she said hugging him back.

"Thank me for what?" he asked surprised.

"For being here for me." she said hugging him harder.

"Well, I'll always be here, if you want to talk." he promised dislodging her from him.

"Let's go back now. I have to talk to Scott." she said getting up and dusting herself off.

"O.K. Jubes." he said following her out of the clearing, back towards the mansion.

"Hello!" Jubilation Lee yelled, very annoyed. Cyclops told me to meet him at the Boat House and he wasn't there.

"Aun'ie J! Aun'ie J!" squealed Scott's six-year-old daughter, Menolly. "Daddy sent me, you need go to Mission Room." she giggled as Jubilee, in her bad mood, let out a few fireworks.

"Thank you, for coming and telling me, sweetie. Do you want to walk me there?" she asked the waiting child, bending down for a hug, which she received promptly.

"Nah, Daddy said dhat if I walk you dere I 'ell you de secret" she answered running off before Jubilee could say anything. When she had told Scott the news yesterday, he had said that they could talk about arrangements the next day, now somebody had a secret in the Mission Room... Jubilee pondered, walking towards the mansion.

Upon entering the mansion Jubilee was assaulted by the noise of screaming children. Walking into the living room she saw why, somebody had left every child in the mansion watching a movie, which was now was over.

"KIDS! Quiet Down!" she yelled trying to be heard over the mass confusion of the room. They paused for a second then continued screaming. Jubilee let out a few plasma bombs, very small ones to get their attention.

"Oooooooooh!" said six-year-old Desirae Logan.

"Aaaaaaaaah!" said five-year-old Rook Monroe.

"Zooooooowy!" said three-year-old Chloe Frost.

"Chloe! What are you doing here?" Jubilee asked the three-year- old, astonished that her headmaster and mistress had let their child come without them, unless they were here too. She let her mind go searching for the teacher who taught her how to use her mental powers There you are! Come out from hiding now. She said telepathically to Emma Frost.

"Guess we got caught spying, Dear heart." Emma says to her husband, Sean Cassidy.

"What are you two...three..." Jubilee started asking as the headmaster and mistress came out of the closet,remembering to add Chloe, "four...five..." she added as Husk then Camber came out behind them, "six...seven..." as Mondo then Skin followed Chamber, "eight doing here?!!" she finished as the last member of Generation X, Synch, came behind Skin.

"Scott asked us to come last night, he said for a vacation of sorts. He even sent the Black Bird to pick us up." Emma explained picking her daughter up.

"Did he tell you why?" she asked, thinking how she would get him back if he had.

"No, he just told us that we needed a vacation." Everett Thomas spoke up. Looking at his girlfriend critically, she seemed to have grown more, in maturity level, in the last two days then she had in the last two years.

"OK. Well Scott told me to go to the Mission Room, so maybe that's where we're supposed to meet with the X-Men." Jubilee suggested, noticing Everett staring at her. She motioned him over to her as the others started walking out of the room, each taking charge of an X-Baby.

"Hey, long time no see!" she whispered kissing him lightly on the cheek, all the while keeping hold of Menolly Summers, who decided to be very energetic at that moment.

"How you doin'?" Everett asked kissing her cheek in return, trying to keep hold of Desirae Logan, who decided to look up and say:"Eeeeeeeeew!! Aun'ie J and Unca Ever are kissin'!" Jubilee being the modest sort, turned beet red, holding tighter to Menolly.

"I'm fine." Jubilee said quietly, after Emma and Scott finished lecturing them on PDA(Public Display of Affection).

"I know you are, but how are you?" Everett said taking her hand and leading her into a spare room. Not noticing that the room was occupied.

"Everett! We're supposed to be at a meeting, but" Jubilee squealed as he tickled her lightly up and down her sides. "I have to tell you something." trying to keep a hold of his hands.

"What? Is something wrong?" He asked concern clouding his voice.

"No, nothing is wrong. It's just that I'm..." Jubilee burst into tears before she could finish.

"What's wrong, sweetheart? Are you pregnant?" Everett asked sending Jubilee into shock.

"How did you know?" she asked in wonder.

"I suspected it when you came here for a medical exam instead of to Emma, plus I can feel the baby's aurora." He answered hugging her tightly to him.

"Aaaaaaaaaaachuuuuuuuuu!!!" came an anonymous sneeze from the corner of the room. The intruders turned in surprise at the sound.

"Sorry ya'll, ah seem t' be in the wrong room." says a very red Cannonball, walking quickly out of the room. Both Jubilee and Everett start laughing at this. When they finally calm down Jubilee asks "Can you really feel our baby?" stressing "our".

"Yes, I can. Now should we go to that meeting or stay in this nice, dark, and quiet room, to have a little fun?" he asked her running his hands up and down her back playfully.

"I think we should go to that meeting. Since we're already late." she said wanting to tell the rest of her team the glorious news.

"What's wrong?" Jubilee asked as she and Everett walked into the mission room, only to be greeted by silence.

"It looks as if we'll be stayin' longer then we thought, lass." explained Banshee, succeeding only in confusing her more.

"We just got word that our home was blown to bits, chica, by the BEM(Brotherhood of Evil Mutants), and if we had been there we all would have been dead." Skin clarified Banshee's explanation.

"Oh my god! What are we going to do now?" she asked sitting down abruptly, hoping against hope that she didn't faint.

"The X-Men have agreed to let us stay here at Westchester until the house and dorms are rebuilt." Emma said before Jubilee could faint.

"Well we have some good news!" Synch said trying to cheer people up.

"Oh, and what is that?" Paige said sarcastically.

"I'm pregnant!" Jubilee said at the same time Everett said "Jubilee's pregnant!" they looked at each other and smiled.

"Well that is good news! I was wondering when you were going to tell us." Emma Frost says, realizing, that she said to much, to late.

"Have something you want to tell us Ms. Frost?" Jubilee asked icily.

"Being pregnant heightens my telepathic and empathic powers." she said simply, her husband falling to the floor in a dead faint.

"Well I want to go out shopping, who wants to go with me?" Jubilee asked her teammates brightly.

"We'll go!" Paige volunteered herself and Chamber.

"Let's go then!" Jubilee exclaimed as she picked the jeep's keys out of Banshee's pocket.
