Her eyes swept down his body in the same investigating manner he had used. He chuckled and smiled at her show of bravado. Her sense of humor wouldn't let her ignore the situation and she laughed with him.

"I'm sorry Miss…."

"Renden. Kyler Renden." She supplied for him.

"Right well Miss Renden he ain't here at the moment."

"Can you tell me when he will return?"

"This afternoon."

Kyler stopped and turned to face the beckoning voice. The feminine speaker was a beautiful woman with flame red hair.

"Please, won't you stay for lunch? We can get to know each other while you wait for the professor."
