Places to Go, Things To See

(AKA The Link Page)
As you can see, I've redone this from one page into a link "area." I'm hoping, that while giving people more places to check out, this new format will also allow me to add links faster.

If you have a site or know of a site you feel we should have listed, let us know. I will check it out and if it doesn't crash my browser (don't laugh, I've been to sites that have!) and fits into any of the categories below, I'll list it. Please be sure to tell me the full URL of the site, and what area you'd like to see it listed in.

And for those of you who like the "do it yourself" approach to adding links and want to give a little information for your new site, we now have the Sites to visit, things to see message board. You can go there and add your site, or look for sites you haven't found yet! Just please, make sure the site you add is comic book or fanfiction related. (yes, other fandoms are acceptable, such as if you wanted to advertise your Star Trek fanfiction site)

The only downfall to this "add your own" place is that if the forum gets too big, I will have to delete the oldest ads first to give everyone their fair chance. Otherwise, have fun!

Fanfiction Sites

Sites devoted to X-Characters (or X-Teams)

Graphics Sites

General Comic Book sites.

Misc. Sites (Sites I just couldn't fit into any of the other groups)

Three links that don't belong on any of the other areas, that I put in here for the heck of it...

Too Cool Man's Home Page A home page for my nephew. He's got a great background image and a couple other interesting gifs. He likes the X-Men, which makes him "Too cool" in my book too.

The Adventures of Polly the Hawk Okay, this is not a site devoted to X-Men fan-fiction, in fact, it doesn't have anything at all to do with the X-Men, or the famous Hawk who used to archive all the stories found on ACFF. What this is, is a collection of stories about a hawk who's name is Polly. They're adorable, short little tales, which can be a breath of fresh air after overdosing on angst. For this reason alone, I figured the author deserved to have a link. The fact that the author happens to be my husband's niece/goddaughter has nothing to do with it.

Carmental's Home Page Another page, done by another niece. Check it out, she's even got some cute stories on it. And it's on the Doghouse server! (Which is the same server Shifting Sands is on)
