In Dandelion's own words:
Drawn to the Lodestone Rock is a story centering on Magneto. It is
my vision concerning his return to the world after the fall of
Avalon, his amnesia, how the X-Men get involved and the results
therein. Also, there is a personal addendum: I was interested in
the Age of Apocalype references to the friendship between Magneto and
Gambit and it was never explored to my satisfaction. I think the
characters have a bit in common so I went with it.
