Without further ado...

Dear Santa:

Well, that sure is an original start, right, shugah? Well, hi there, it's me again. Ah swear, sometimes Ah don't know why I keep doing this, year after year, at this time. Ah guess a part of me still longs for the young child who believed you'd get her a doll, no?

Well, you know how it goes. Every year, when no one is looking, Ah wake up at midnight and write a letter to y'all. Every year it's the same, " please, shugah, let me touch someone without damn near killing him." And every year Ah spend the night crying. But not this year

I'm not too sure why that is. Ah mean, Ah still can't touch anyone, Ah don't know whether Ah love Remy, or whether Ah'd rather be with Joseph... Ah don't know nothing anymore. However, there is something else Ah'd like to ask

Please, please shugah, let mah family be happy again. Ah don't wanna find Scott looking out the window, wondering where Prof X is. Ah don't wanna find Logan in the woods, looking lonely and sad, if only from a distance. Ah don't wanna see Bishop and Warren arguing about Onslaught, or Psylocke crawling through the mansion, without talking to anyone.

Ah'm not blind, Ah know life for us has always been ... difficult to say the least. Ah just wanna think it can be worthwhile, and we will pull through, as we always do.

So this year, Ah don't much care if Ah have to wait another year to be abe to kiss someone, without having to go on a trip to Seattle to bust a theater. But please, Santa, let us smile this X-Mas, OK?

So, what did you think? I'm afraid the execution didn't come quite as close to the idea as I'd hoped. Any comments?
