It's morning. Not that that's important, but it's always nice to know where you are and the time. Where is Muir Island, the time is during the nightmare that is Raab.
Moira is up first this morning, she's making a cup of coffee. Not her usual stuff, this is chocolate mocha. She sips it and smiles. "Now, this is good stuff. Much better than me own blend." Change is good.
Kitty floats down to stand next to her. "Any word on Rahne and Douglock?" It has been a week since they left to find Amanda.
"Nope, not a word," Moira tells her as she sits down.
"Like, totally awesome, dude!" Kitty says. She memorized the entire movie "Valley Girl" last week and has changed her style of speaking. Change is good.
"Kitty, A want tae tell ye something important."
"Okay!" Kitty giggles.
"A've decided tae give up me Legacy research and become a lap dancer in Los Vegas," Moira sighs happily as she drinks her coffee. "A've talked to Sean, he's going take up the money for me. A'm leaving as soon as Rahne gets back."
"Cool!" Kitty giggled. "Pete and I decided to let Peter sleep with us." Change is good.
"That's wonderful!" Moira hugs the girl. "You get both of the men you love."
Pete Wisdom walks down the stairs, wearing bermuda shorts and hawaiian t-shirt. "I'm giving up smoking!"
"Radical!" Kitty squeals as she kisses him.
Lockheed sees Pete and knocks Kitty out of his way. He wraps himself around Pete's neck and smiles happily. "Me and Pete are the bestest of friends."
Kitty nods, forgetting the fact that Lockheed never spoke for her. "Like, groovy, dude!" It was so nice to see her pet and her boyfriend getting along.
Pete walks over to Moira and smiles. "Looking good!" Moira smiles a secretive smile.
"So are you." Pete grins at her.
Meggan's next to come into the room. She's wearing high heeled shoes and a dowdy brown dress. "I've decided to go to college." Change is good. She pours herself a cup of coffee and drinks it. "This is good stuff."
Brian walks in next, "I'm leaving to go back to my job as a lab assistant. Please, could you hand me a cup of coffee, dear?" Meggan hands him a cup. "Should I make breakfast?"
"Please," Meggan told him, and Pete agrees. Brian quickly starts cooking for them.
"Radically awesome!" Kitty exclaims. "I've decided that math is hard stuff, and I won't do it anymore. I'll make a living by being a nude model for Peter." She smiles as Peter walks in.
Peter puts a proud hand on Kitty's shoulder. "The little woman and I are going to take the art world by storm. Pete's going to help model." He drinks a cup of Moira's coffee.
Kurt bamfs downstairs, and makes a motion for their attention. "My friends, I can not hide the secret longing of my heart anymore. I am giving up women forever, and going to a monastery." Everyone congratulates him for his decision. Change is good.
Amanda walks in the door and smiles. "That's good. I've just married Sinister, and I didn't want to break your heart."
"Coolly awesome!" Kitty tells her as Meggan demands to see the wedding pictures. Everybody gives her their support.
A flash of lightening gets their attention. They turn to the door and see Rahne and Douglock standing there. Rahne is wearing a black leather outfit that has exactly six inches of material to cover her whole body. "Narly!" Kitty tells her. "Can I borrow it?"
"A dinnae see why not," Rahne tells her. "Amanda taught me how to cast the spell. I'm her apprentice."
Moira smiles. "And A'm going tae met Sean in Vagus and start me new career."
"Good, cause Dougie and me are going to ma room and we may or may not be down for supper." Kitty gives her a high five as they leave the room.
Change is good. Real good. :)
