Gabal crouched down in the small dark alley that was across the street of a busy gas station. It was like any other night in New Orleans to him, no exhibits to break into, no big tourist attraction in town, so he and the other Assassins and thieves had to busy themselves with simple pick pocketing. The sun had been down for an hour or so, giving him plenty of places to hide all over the city, but his favorite place to steal was this gas station. Squinting his eyes he focused an odd couple in a brown jeep, the man was short and hairy, the woman was taller and a lot prettier.
The odd little man went in to pre pay for his gas while the women sat in the jeep staring up and down the streets, and for an instant stopped on the small alleyway where he was hidden. It was almost as if she could actually see him, he felt her eyes lock on him.
I've seen her befo'e, somewhere. Soon the little man came back and they were gone. Gable quickly wrote down the license plate before they got to out of site. Standing up he heard the thud of someone landing in the alley, no one else knew he was here accept one.
"Hello dad how's de pickin's goin' for you?"
"Decided to leave de accent, Oui? Not to good, what you written down?" Remy LeBeau asked leaning on his Bo stick glaring at his son.
"Somethin' dat probably ain't important but I wanna run it t'rough the main computers" Turning both father and son walked out of the alley on to the concert sidewalk comparing their day's work.
Thousands of miles away in a no name part of the country another person waits, C'vanna Chaday, project C.O.X. to anyone that worked at this base that didn't exist. Huddled in the corner of her room the fifteen-year-old watched the screen in front of her, watching four different men all at once, Maverick, Sabretooth, Deadpool, and Wolverine. All the men that in the past twelve years she had been trained to kill against her will.
"Is she ready yet Dr.Jetto?"
"Very soon, General, very soon."
