This story takes place sometime after Onslaught but before Operation: Zero Tolerance and after Uncanny X-Men #338. The X-Men have not gone to space or Japan, and I have taken liberties with the entire Crimson Dawn storyline (Uncanny X-Men #329-330). It's probably closer to the end of Onslaught than the beginning of O:ZT. Needless to say, Warren and Betsy are living on their own in Soho in the infamous loft.

I suppose I should put in a warning for mature themes (or innuendo) and possibly some coarse language (I try to keep that to a minimum), barely even a PG-13 (anything else, well, I'm pretty sure it's not legal for me to write it, so it's just as well :).
