Part One

"Your baby boy went and did it again, shamed you. Fouled up one stupid t'ing after another, I promised you a diamond for your birthday and couldn't even do that right. I guess you should know that Daddy's back in town, we talk but not much of anythin' else. Bella's never forgiven you for giving me life, and never forgiven me for living, not even after she became legal guardian of me. Almost the same day that you died, I hate her for dat reason, hell I hate her for any reason, but don't think that she don' hate me. I'm just the little disobedient teenage son. I gotta go now mama, they'll be lookin' for me any moment now but I promise I'll see you tomorrow." He bent down on one knee and gently rubbed the dirt off of the tombstones name and kissed the picture of the woman he would never know.

"I love you mama." He brushed off his jeans and started to head for the main gate, until he saw who was standing there "Bella"

"I believe you got somet'ing I want garcon." She said flatly, her blond hair whipped around in the wind as her long trench coat did, she almost looked like an angel, Angel of death Gabal thought bitterly.

"I t'ink dat's called statutory rape, non?" He smirked at her, she frowned in return. Approaching the gate he noticed that there was no vehicle, no people on the streets, not even an alley cat roaming around, or in other words no witnesses.

"I- dat's disgusting." she said use to his cruel sarcasm "Your Daddy's back is he? Maybe he can persuade you to...give it up?" she smiled, Why does she always smile when she's thinkin' of killin' someone? Bella's finger pointed behind Gabal, following her gaze he saw a body laying limp on the ground over his mothers grave were he had been mere moments before. "I'd get to him, he wasn't much of a help nedder " she turned and started to walk away.

"I'm gonna kill you someday Bella! Jus' wait till den! I'll kill you!" she only smiled at his threats and continued to walk away. Gabal shot her one more look and ran up the hill to the man that lay on the ground. He could finally start to make out his face, Looks like, Mon Dieu! No!

Gabal slammed on to his knees by the side of Remy LeBeau, he gently turned him over. He's so cold, not breathin' either. God please say that he's not dead

"Daddy?" he shook Gambit gently with no response "Daddy please" thousands of emotions started to flow through his mind at once, all the memories of his father, and what was happening now was to much for the young Cajun, the tears started to pour. Gabal brought his Daddy's limp body into his arms, rocking back and forth, praying in words barley above a whisper.

"Daddy, please don't leave your all I 'ave left. She'll kill me too, Daddy please." Gabal looked up to see two figures running through the cemetery, Most likely the bastards that left him he almost jumped out of his skin when a hand was placed on his shoulder. Turning around he saw the last person he expected too.

"Let him go boy, Gambit's gone." Wolverine said in almost a caring voice.

" 'is name is Remy. REMY! Non Gambit, 'is not gone he can't be." Looking down at Remy's face again, He can't be.

"Let me feel for a pulse sha." Rogue's hand touched Gambit's neck lightly, Gabal got the answer when her own tears started to show. "Hon, I'm sorry"

"Leave me," he commanded in a voice that would make ice get the chills "He's not of you, go."

"Not with out you hon."

"I'm not goin' to die with you."

"If that's what you think." Logan took hold of the boy's neck and pressed lightly at his pressure point, Gabal was soon asleep. "Is he really dead Rogue?" Logan picked up Gabal's form and waited for an answer.

"Not a chance, but he's holdin' to a very thin string sugah, we need ta get him ta a hospital." Rogue picked Gambit's body up and flew off in to the night.

Looking down at Gabal's face Logan quietly thought You are goin' to kill us for this...

"What do you mean she's not ready? I've waited for twelve years! I will not accept this!" General DeJune fumed, pacing back and forth on Doctor Jetto's carpeted floor.

"And I tell you again, sir if we release her, as of now, she would not full fill the--duties she has been taught too. If you want to risk that go ahead, I can't stop you. But Child of the Weapon X, or Cox as you like to call her, is far from ready to meet the world." Allan Jetto was on his very last nerve with the general.

"What about the others? Cat, Control and Prephire? Are they ready?" DeJune sat in one of the padded chairs in front of the Doctors desk pressing his fingertips gently together.

"Vivian, or 'Cat' is mentally unstable, but Josh and Justin are quite ready to go."

"Will you know when the other's will be ready to perform?"

"No sir. It's hard to predict maybe if Cox had better influences..." Jetto's words were caught as DeJune grabbed the older man's throat, pushing him against the wall with all of his might.

"Are you saying my daughter was not a good influence on my granddaughter?" Jetto shook his head "Do you realize what I have given up for this program to exist?" Jetto whispered a faint reply before passing out. General DeJune released his grip and stalked out the door stopping at one of Jetto's body guards to inform him that the good doctor had a seizure and needed medical treatment.

General Robin DeJune walked blindly to the treatment centers west back wing, stopping at the view window located at the control center. Peering down at the girl he watched as she squeezed a small stuffed animal closer to her chest as she slept, remembering how much she and his own daughter Anne were alike. Same black slightly blue hair, and how her eyes were the same kitten gray until the transplant. Her eyes now looked like that of a cat's, slit pupil with gray outlining.

Someday your going to be out there, and your one goal is to kill your own family. I'm sorry C'vanna, so so sorry. My poor baby girl Stepping back from the glass he shook his head gently as he passed through the main doors, heading to the briefing room for Control and Prephire.

I would never kill Gambit (at least this early in the story) so don't worry:>) E-mail me what you think of this part and what you think of Gabal, yes I know he's only been around in this story but I wantta know if you think it's just another "Gambit has a kid" story or not.
