This page contains a number list of everything you should do when you send your story to me. No, it does not contain new information, but it lists it all simply. I wrote it because I get a lot of stories submitted where people forget one thing and I have to write and ask them. This wastes time. I figured if I listed it here, people could download this and print it out if they wanted, to use it as a checklist. I have simplified it, taking out explinations.
Here goes
In the beginning of the letter you send me with the story, or the attachment that contains the story
1: Give me the name you want to go under.
2: Include your teaser.
3: Write a disclaimer if it's a brand new story.
4: Let me know if it's a multi-part story or a one shot story.
5: Be sure to include your title.
6: Do not send several parts together. Send each part or section as a separate letter.
7: Let me know when a story ends, so I can take out the Work in progress note in the library
8: Make sure the HTML work is done.
9: Send it to midnight@shifting-sands.la.ca.us
10: Let me know your e-mail address. Particularly if you're sending from one address, but want any mail to go to another.
11: Make sure your e-mail address is correct.
